Your eyes will need special attention for a while after surgery. For the first 24-36 hours after surgery you might need to apply a cold compress to your eyes for 15 minutes of every hour. We recommend you sleep with your head elevated. You will also be given an antibiotic ointment to apply until sutures are removed. You will be given a set of written postoperative instructions which are specific for your surgical procedure.
